Chemainus Secondary School

Chemainus Secondary School (CHSS) wishes to welcome all new and returning students to the 2024-25 school year. Chemainus Secondary is a Grade 7-12 school of approximately 360 students that provides a full educational program within a flexible, caring and safe environment

Chemainus is a picturesque town located on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The town is internationally recognized due to the 30+ huge murals painted on buildings throughout the community depicting the history of the local area. Students come from Chemainus as well as the neighboring communities Crofton and Saltair.
